Healing                         

Athena Wolf has taught yoga for 37 years and practiced as an herbalist for 39 years. She studied in Mexico with Weremay Kachora, the medicine man of the Yaqui tribe, and with Peruvian lineage, through which she has become a Kuraq Akulleq shaman. Her sensitivity to the human energy field  can assist in your journey toward wholeness and balance. During each session she holds space that allows you to recognize and release energies that are no longer needed. Healing is accomplished from a place of non-judgment, love and light.

The despacho--a ritual for community to send healing energy to the land--and new and full moon ceremonies are offered as healing for the earth and ourselves.

 

Workshops   

 

Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine

This experiential festival of the spirituality, beauty and power of Male and Female will root you in the earth, stimulate psychological insight, offer spiritual practices, and uplift you into the joy of channeling the creative energy of the universe.

Introduce yourself through the Spiral dance, inspire others with your stories, listen to an illustrated short history of the Goddess culture and male deity. Participate in theatre, yoga or belly dancing. Learn to build altars and enjoy a discussion of manifesting the sacred in your community.   

 

Introduction to Shamanism

Have you been drawn to shamanism and like to find out more about it? During this six hour workshop, you will be given basic information about shamanism. You will hear about the Shaman's path and how the Shaman perceives and interacts in the world. This is a preparatory course to the Peruvian Medicine Wheel. You will be given the ceremonies to begin to work on yourself in this tradition.

 

   

Apprenticeships

To move into the Golden Age of harmony with Nature and peace between people prophesied by the Laika we must "step out from behind our hiding places and embrace the process of truly knowing and healing ourselves, our world and the Earth. We are the ones we have been waiting for" (Alberto Villoldo)This apprenticeship of the Peruvian Medicine Wheel will give you the tools to do this. It is the path of the Kuraq Akullaq shaman.
